Sought after by clients and colleagues alike for his ability to find clarity through complexity, Tom is passionate about helping teams maximize the meaning and impact of their work, while simultaneously improving the overall consumer experience. Mr. Lytle has more than 25 years of business experience working in the finance, technology, and healthcare space.   He is the founder and managing director of Succession Capital USA, which he formed to help small business entrepreneurs innovate, grow, and realize an optimal exit strategy.

Prior to founding Succession Capital USA, Mr. Lytle was recruited to join R1's finance team to help them prepare to go public by improving operating margins. He spent 15 years at R1 in increasing responsibility roles and is most proud of the following achievements:

  • Brought the firm IPO: (NYSE on May 20, 2010 and NASDAQ on March 20, 2018)
  • Won R1's innovation tournament (#1 out of 1,350 entries) and implemented the idea
  • Led operational due diligence workstreams on three completed acquisitions
  • Grew various enterprise c-level client relationships
  • Led R1's Digital Transformation Office,
  • Prepared board, investor, and client presentations, and
  • Optimized numerous revenue cycle processes across the front, middle, and back-end operations
Before R1, Tom joined three separate IT Security firms to drive growth, improve operating margins, and successfully prepare these firms for acquisition by Fortune 500 firms.

Mr. Lytle's superpowers include, but are not limited to, general problem solving, refining business strategies to enhance competitive advantage, driving operational improvements to boost margins and growth, and leading M&A activities, due diligence, contracting, and negotiations.

Tom has set strategy and delivered results for some of the world's foremost firms, including Ascension Health, Intermountain Healthcare, Sutter Health, LifePoint Health, Quorum Health, HCA Healthcare, VeriSign, Symantec, NTT Data, Netrex Systems, Telenisus, INEOS Phenol, Google, ESI, Coca Cola Enterprises, and many more.

Mr. Lytle holds a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering and MBA from the University of Michigan and he completed Stanford's Emerging COO program.
